The Five Love Languages is a reference to the work by Dr. Gary Chapman and his series of books on relationships. The Five Love Languages test here, was simply taken from some sheets I was given during a seminar on them. I wanted to be able to do the tally automatically and since I am a programmer, I thought that using an ASP site would be perfect for it. At the time I didn't have my own PWS (a personal web server) but I did have my own website with ASP.

I was very grateful for Dr. Chapman's work and with enthusiasm created some pages where I could have some of my family and friends take the test, because I found as I was telling of my seminar experience, that showing what the test did was helpful.

In any case, the test here was only initially intended for my personal use, however it has come to my knowledge that people unknown to me have found this site and have used it for themselves. I do not wish to curtail this activity and will leave the pages available, and even improve upon them, however if Dr. Chapman or his publishers decide that this is copyright infringement, the pages will be shut off. I have not specifically requested permission to use this work, but I am not receiving any benefit from having others use of this site either.

IN addition, this test IS NOT a substitute for reading the book(s) and/or finding real therapy for your relationships. Do not think that this test alone will solve all of your relationship problems. It is only a tool that can be used to help find what your love language is.
